Perfect for a Solo Getaway
Arrived just after breakfast had finished, the chef made fresh eggs and sausages just for me, true hospitality you won’t forget. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, making the rainy day seem less gloomy.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for the quality and service you receive.

The fried oysters were such a treat, and breakfast was an absolute highlight every morning! Staff were super friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.
Wi-Fi barely reached our room, and the room was cold at first until we cranked the heating. Plus, I did have a nasty run-in with a metal bed frame corner that left me with a decent bruise!

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed walking in the beautiful countryside and even tried kayaking at Wimbleball lake. The staff were so friendly and the food was yummy and generous. Definitely would recommend the carvery for dinner.
One downside was that there wasn't a proper shower in the room, which made things a bit inconvenient.

Great vibes and fab food!
We stayed for a night and loved it! The room was comfy and the view over the countryside was just lovely. The food was delish, had a main that hit the spot! Super friendly service too. Only thing was it got a bit noisy during dinner rush, but still, I’d come back for that cute atmosphere.

Charming country atmosphere, enjoyable rural surroundings, cozy seating area near the bar
The bathroom needs a proper shower fixture rather than just a bath!!! It's unacceptable to lack sufficient storage for clothing, making a week-long stay cramped and uncomfortable!!!
